Agreed.
But my point is, along with other peoples that i've seen, if you are a psychiatrist who is there to "help" the soldiers who were "hurt" mentally and sometimes physically. Why could the psychiatrist not keep it together?
I understand he "heard and had to see" what these men saw, but he never really did "see" any of the horrors of war. If these soldiers who actually saw their friends and brother die in front of them can make it through stuff like that, why can't the psychiatrist?
It just doesn't make sense I guess.
I understand he was picked on for his religion and all but I mean if it was that horrible why didn't he leave the country as so many other americans had/have done. (The draft dodgers)(And don't get me wrong, in no way am I saying racial discrimination is right in ANY case.)
I guess if it caused that much hate in him and he was that scared.. I mean honestly why not just talk to someone about it. It may be weird being a psychiatrist talking to another psychiatrist but if you have feelings of hate or anger that strong, you really need to talk to someone.
Plus, they never said he coulnd't (from what I understand) his lawyer said even IF he payed them back for his schooling they "probably" wouldn't let him leave. (thats what I got from it(on msn))
Just my thought anyhow...
