Yea trust them. I have that problem. Everyone mistakes me for the Admin Seth at first and its annoying beyond belief. However iv already established myself as Seth and those i play with know me by that name.
Make something for yourself while its easy.

No one ever said give, merely pointed out that you are using the name of someone already famous. So no matter what your accomplishments are you will be compared to them. Thus it will never be a name you made for yourself but one you share with another. Also his advice was for you to listen to the advice given by Apollo and myself.

I dont really think I can live up to the name Kane. I have never reached rank 1 or even alliance rank 1. Im gonna take yur advice, Korupt, and step down the ladder. Im gonna use a name of a different character from Command & Conquer. The three best that are on the Evil team are Kane, Seth, and Vega. If all of those are taken, Im gonna have to use Anton Slavik. Kane and Seth are obviously taken, so im gonna have to use one of the other two until I manage to be rank 1, after which i can change back to Kane. As of now, I am Vega.

As of now, I am Vega. in my opinion, and experience, taking the name of a well known character (or series) will always have the problems of someone else taking the same name, or someone else already have that name before. Why not make up something completely different, completely original, but use the names as references? Something like combining the names together and be KSV or something.

Alex, my answer to you now is when someone asks about George, I would like you to be sure that all fingers will point to me. As far as I know, I became very famous using my real name George as my in game name just because I am too lazy to actually go search for one or do like Aister said, something like combining names together or imagine one no one has used. By the way Kane, this is not my problem, do what you want
