Are you serious? I thought that only happened in movies...

well, in all honesty you need to define a hero to begin with. In my opinion a hero is a person who puts his life on the line to protect others such as a cop or firefighter. Now what would make them a SUPER hero would be that they do this on a larger scale. I.E. they save hundreds to thousands of lives as opposed to a couple dozen that your average firefighter or police man might rescue.

So, under my definition yes they would be super heroes because despite their lack of powers, they still save people and prevent crime on a massive scale.
