I guess this section fits the topic. I'm just curious as to why nobody posts DoW's (Declarations of War) in the Gameplay Discussion area.

I mean, there's supposed to be some level of Roleplaying involved with this game, right? I dunno. It struck me as odd that there could be a game completely revolving around alliance wars and yet there are no actual DoW's.

Of course, I could just be missing them. I could just also be completely beside my senses - that's always a possibility.

I post BRs when im in wars but thats about it.

@ads126: Well, that's true. Although, those people could always just post the DoW like right before attacking. This way, they still keep their advantageous blitzing maneuver while seeming appropriate. Hell, I suppose something after maybe 10 ticks in would still be appropriate.

A DoW thread would also be able to quell all the nonsensical ramblings on the in-game Broadcast. I mean, at the rate some of these people use that thing - they've gotta be nearing a daily average of 10 mana per day.

DoW threads also allow leaders to fully explain their side of the story and their perception of events leading to such a declaration. It would allow multiple members on both sides of such a conflict to engage in diplomacy with one another and maybe reach an agreement.

Same with Non-Aggression Pacts. You can set out the EXACT terms - that way, it becomes apparent if someone really is, genuinely, betraying someone.

I dunno. I guess I'm hoping I can convince people to start utilizing the Gameplay Discussion section of the forums more often. I think there's a lot of us out there who would particularly enjoy the Roleplaying possibilities that would be associated with this.

EDIT: Routhy... I'm actually curious as to how one goes about posting a Battle Report. I know it has something to do with taking a screenshot... but I don't know how to do that, either, unfortunately.

To take a screenshot you press the 'prt sc' button. Then you copy it to a program where you can save it as a photo (I use paint). Then you go onto a picture hosting service like Tinypic.com. Copy the thing and you are done.

I got one called "Prnt Scrn" which I'm assuming that's the one you're referring to. It means Print Screen, yes? Unfortunately, it does absolutely nothing when I press it. No new window pops up, no mini-menu like when you right-click something, no prompt or anything.

I'm sad now because I think my laptop sucks.

After pressing print screen go into paint and right-click and copy.
