true, but my raichu (or other electric type) will know thunder wave, what other attacks does arbok have? never really used it, so idk what kind of variety it could bring into the fights.

And thats my major problem with fire types, since we're not going to be doing the trading back and forth of all three starters, i won't have a charmander to evolve to charizard, so i need to come up with a good replacement..

you might just have to break down and train a vulpix. it would be a pain in the ass but well worth it in the end. growlithe i don't have much experience with.


sludge bomb is always good. lol actually they're not too great until sihnoh so nvm. dragonite?

ooh dragonite, i forgot about him. he'd ne a great addition, has a nice variety he can learn as well if i remember correctly...

But ya, i'd still prefer something other then vulpix... so no other ideas for my fire type?
