Do you know i have pretty much supported every update that has gone into Battledawn since i can remember, but this update is a word i cannot say followed by several other words i cannot say.

You might as well not call this Battledawn anymore and name it something else because these changes are removing what i feel is core Battledawn.

You obviously have taken time to think about making these changes, but ended up making the wrong choice about putting them in.

Conquering a colony and recieving taxation is what battledawn has always had, and if you remove this then you might as well lose your name. Worst update by far, so please reconsider this.

Yeah, I agree with DOD, it changes the game. At the beginning, conquers mean everything....

what do we do now? sit, get mines and defend mines all the times? :P
and i say Mines should not count as Power instead, score cause Power Determines how powerful your colony is. Mines are limited only, it's so difficult to gain power, and lossing 1 mine means losing a power.

Not only at the beginning, they are what usually makes the difference. I have never been much of a conquering person myself compared to some others here, but they are what makes the game fun. I didn't like the last update, but I could live with it. If this gets taken away, I'll just leave.

If you want to do this, release it as Battledawn V2.0. With this update it wouldn't be the BD we know anymore.

This will kill the game, make it more newbie friendly okay you attract more players but its not the noobs buying reds, and there will be no reason to buy reds anymore if people arent fighting for conquers.

Also with no reason to conquer the game will now be completely boring and annoying as hell if all you can fight over is metal mines because people will constantly be attacking them and Im pretty sure anybody who plays this game can imagine how bad that will be.

Its a big change , it will certainly be a different game.I might try it , but doubt i will like it.
The only way i see it working is if the op`s work like conquers and are only freed if owner is beat at colony. That might be pretty cool as it would cut down on multie farming.
The great part about BD is that is starts over , you learn you do better and walla , your a top rank player.Of course people are gonna play , decide they don`t like it and quit.That`s any game. You should not be fixing what isn`t broken.

I came to BD from an online game called Kings Of Babylon. I used to love that game played for hours on end and was a paying supporter of it much like I am of BD. the admin made change's to the game to tailor it to the noobs and the defencive players thus removing the thrill for all offensive players. after the changes the game became boring and the senoir players and the supporters of the game started leaving in droves.

mark my words, tailor this game to the noobs and the non supporters and you will see us paying supporters leave. I for one will not pay for a game I do not enjoy playing. I would rather go find one that I do.

my opinion, If its not really broken why try and fix it. Just my 2 cents.

Not a good idea.. im all for helping the new players but this will make the game very boring for all senior players and most will leave the game, Will be no need to Boost and will prevent future development in my opinion.

All players (friends) have said the same thing, taking conquers away to build up power and replacing with outposts will force all to seek a new game to play.

Been tried on earlier BETA servers and was a big FAIL!!!

This update is pointless... conquering and getting taxation is what makes BD interesting. Removing taxationg will make this game so boring, sitting whole day, just defending mines is not my idea of playing.... there is no fun in that. If you want new players not to leave this game, create a thorough interactive tutorial, which shows everything outpost, chasis, unit building pros and cons, nukes, relics....

I also started as a noob, and then learned all the basics playing and loosing many eras.. those who enjoy this game won't leave because they are conquered. Those who leave will anyways I guess even after this update.

You should reconsider your decision...
