I definitely hate fighting for resource OPs, 500 would make the game like Kong but even more lame since you can get a few conquers on Kong.

If you have played Kong you know how hard and annoying it is to take Mines.

and not to mention
No1 on Kong cares if they are conquered because its about resource OPs and honestly it is sooo boring fighting for resource OPs, Now think, if colonies gave no income when conquered, i know i would be cared about conquering, if i stayed which i wouldnt, i wouldnt be here if this was the case.

I HATED how boring Kong was now imagine NO income and 800-1500 players with no income all fighting for just 500 resource OPs.

Where did the enjoyment of the game go? where did the fun go? where did BattleDawn go?

Ha! after my teammates explained it to me. I'm fine with this update now since, i don't play as Conqueror anymore, i play in E2 and i have the most OP in our alliance and i have no conquers. all i'm depending is mines income.

So, couple points.

First to the person a bit above me about Kong being all about Res Op's thats not true. When that one game went down and Kong gave everyone Tokens to use on BD and it brought in a massive amount of new players, it changed thinsg for quite a while and they're still that way. My Alliance "GODS" went through and trashed everyone. I myself had 215 Conquers. Thats 860 Metal and somewhere around 640 or so Oil, this was on Mars Speed. Point being, Conquers are the way several alliances work, when I first started the game I was a Crystal Hoarder, as I got better at the game, I preferred a mixture of Crystals and Conquers.

I realize the Update isnt going through, but I wanted to give my thoughts on the matter anyway.

You say the reason for this Update, the Idea for it, was that it would make things easier on Noobs, who wont be conquered (because removing tax takes away the reason for conquering except for Crystals) but..Would you rather have New players join the game, and some of them leave..or would you rather have your old players, who still boost money every single round? This update would single handedly have destroyed the game on the off chance that some of your boosters stayed, it would have become an even MORE onesided game. I've boosted about 500$ since I joined the game a couple years ago, and I do it to get an edge on the competition but I'm capable after having been trained to do without, removing conquers would have made it almost impossible, because Conquerers are a better Balancing tool then changing the time limits for the buildings could ever be.

Activity + Skill VS Boosting

Activity + Skill > Boosting

However..what would be the reason to be active? why would you need skill?..if there are no Conquers. Just throwing that out there XD Know its kinda pointless to say now that everyone else has already done so, but I couldnt resist after reading through six pages of comments.
