Hmm. Common misconception, see, contrary to popular belief, it wasn't only 300 men that defended Thermopylae, there were also around 700 men from the Thespian army, a Greek city state. So even though it amounts to 1,000 men and not 300, it's still great nonetheless.

it was the 300 spartens that had actually started this fight those other 700 joined to help them in good will none the less is was 1,000 men vs what 50,000 men and the had ended up fighting so well they pulled back the front lines and just shot them to death with archers. still they killed so many men in this heroic battle to save many other soldiers that were in a navy battle and deserved to atleast keep fighting and die by sword/spear instead of an arrow

Well they were bound to kill a large number of Persian infantry, they had superior armor and weaponry. The only thing the Persians had was the advantage of numbers. And the Spartans went through intense training as children. No such thing as child abuse then, that's for sure.

still they did kill what 5,000 infantry it was either that or 15,000 i cant exactly remember still if it wasnt for cheap archery they would have done so much damage it's not even funny
