yes i know what it is but in order to break the shield you gotta charge it up which gives time for a guy with an RPG in the tank to shoot you down

RPG rockets are easily evaded and they will eventually run out of ammo.and chances are they wouldn't even be carrying an RPG

before i leave the base i always get a RPG sniper rifle and machine gun and 6 grenades then i hop in the tank and away i go
