haa i remember three years ago i was sitting in summer school playing games when i ran acrost battle mechs. i played it and saw a add for battledawn. i started up and loved it from day one. the players the coumminity and stuff like that, share your story.(Note i would like for people to post who have played for 1 year or more anyless and you havent seen the changes we have. THANKS!!!)

I was just doin nothin and was just scrollin through game commercials and then i saw BD and there was a full screen picture of a map and it looked pretty cool and so i tried it out and fell in love...

Anyways, I came to the forum around the time Simmen became a Head Moderator. Kenny, Devil9, demonlord, DST3, Rederoin, Alex, Zudamar, Bork, empirebattles, and Targoon were all actively posting then. I miss them <3

I was a veteran member of a gaming forum that was one of BD's affiliates (old client). I came over with two others from the forum, won my first round and took it from there.

hmm iv'e been playing since mid 2008, and i never heard of battle mechs till they put it under the minigames on the colony screen.
i found it somehow, i think through advertising. i placed a colony on an earth server. i spent all my resources and didn't get what to do next. since i had spent all my resources before the tick passed. i gave up because i didnt know how to get more resources.and never logged in again.
about 2 months later, my brother comes home and tells me about this game his friend plays. and his friend says its a pretty cool game(yes his friend was talking about BD) so i gave BD another chance.

When I was about.. 10 yrs old (give or take) I came across an ad while playing Runescape (yes. I know  ) I went on, spent my res, never logged on again. I then saw an advert for it a few years later and gave it another shot. I played again, got bored and left. THEN a few months later I was bored to I logged back in, saw that the era had ended so I built again the next.. That's when Ferr3t was born

when i first started i kicked but. i knew this was a tick based game and ended up with some of the top alliances, i never wone a era but i have finished in the top 10 just about every time i play
