I'm your commander in arms. I'm thirsty. You see that well over there? Go fetch me some water from it. It is surrounded by 5000 chariots, 1000 cavalry, 250 archers, and 30,000 swordsmen. You are armed with a broom, a trash can lid, 3 rubber bands, 6 glass marbles, and a bucket. Describe how you will get to the well and bring back some water.

I simply walk into mor- through the soldiers and retrieve a bucket of water.

You never said the army surrounding the well was hostile...

tie a marble to a rubber band and fling it at a soldier's face.it bounces off every single one of them except one that i ko captain america style with the trash can lid.

the broom could be used as a pike against the cavalry and the trash can lid a shield against the archers but that wouldnt help much you might injure 1 person
