Hmm Vault, not at all the way I would describe the situation... (I suppose that's always the case in war, isn't it...) Back stabbing is subjective. If we had had any diplomatic agreements with you guys, I assure you, we would have honored them completely. As it was, we mostly just skirted around each other, avoiding conflict, handling incidents on a case-by-case basis. We all knew that if we were to have any chance of winning, we would have to face you guys at some point. As you guys had a significant advantage over us, we knew that we would need all the help we could get. Part of our planning process involved reaching out to our friends, to see if we could get their support. Our only mistake was putting too much trust in the world. :) (I have always been way too trusting, that is one of the qualities that makes me such a terrible leader...) War will always entail a good deal of behind-the-back conspiring. A war where the attacking party publicly announces their intent to do battle, and gives their enemy plenty of time to prepare, is just not realistic.

I don't begrudge BoS for what they have done. They have used the information HBE gave them to preclude our attack; they have turned an advantage for us into an advantage for them. A sound strategical move. :) What I do kinda resent is them turning the war into a crusade, a moral conquest. We all want to win, can't we just leave it at that?

Good luck to you, better luck to us. :D

So I guess you don't follow the "a friend of my friend is my friend" saying. Except that BL was the one who vouched for you to being friendlies with us, as we were both their brother alliance. PS: Alexander, Im sorry, but Im not stupid enough to put any information about me backstabbing anywhere outside my private chatrooms. Im also sorry to tell you that Im not stupid enough to backstabb, period. That was a just-for-fun chatroom, and I've even joked with Raider about it, hell Raider was joking about joining G and stuff then attack me, so please, take a joke xD Even when it's all said and done, we didn't backstabb: TWL leader just gave us more than plenty of reason.

And surely, we didn't have direct dealings. Wait, I thought we had, as I still made my homework and contacted you when BL requested the NAP. So a backstabb's a backstabb: we're bringing it to the light thanks to that world you put your trust to. You made your gamble, and now it severely backfired. We could very well win sitting on our butts and just giving you a spanking for trying. Instead, I truly hate backstabbers, so when I meet em I stop em when I can; Im sorry if you ressent it but if you truly did you wouldnt even try backstabbing then ;)

And Tsot, I agree: they're boring, although sometimes one can have fun with their friends only if they dont have war with each other. What I am truly sorry here is that Raider is leaving because of all this. Me being called a backstabber, yea I would ressent it, usually because it ain't true, but I know what I am I know what I did, so I dont got to explain a million times to everybody why I ain't a backstabber and what I really did. Plus, even SHP called me a backstabber, when later on the entire world could see who was the real traitor. By dumbness or by deviousness, but we all saw it. Now if you excuse me, there is an epic west vs east war to win. Props for BL for coming from underneat though, Im really quite busy preparing their welcome party ^_^

Now, I needed to say something about this claim from TWL that we "shouldn't do a crusade" about it. I say why not? Almost every player say it practically takes a backstabb to win, even if they don't do it. So many people leave because of the constant backstabbs that happen by teams that want to win that way. The public view of backstabbs is changing, by the argument that this is a game and so such tactics are perfectly normal. I take a stand here, to say that they are NOT needed to win, and that they are NOT normal. They are the most deplorable tactic ever to be invented, in a game or not. Even if it is a game, would you betray a real friend just to get their cookies? If you do something like this in a game, it just means you would do the same in real life. Your personality in this game is a reflection of who you are. So I do this crusade: to show that backstabb isn't just bad morally, but it will get you killed in this game. That the biggest backstabber ain't the biggest winner. That in the end, all they get is a swift ass-kicking.

And I intend to make this true in F1. The alliances that support me either share this view or simply agree on helping me with it. TWL, yes we all want to win, but that is the worst excuse to betray something that goes above victory: it isn't a victory for you if you have to step over the dead bodies of those who swore you were an ally to them, you are not skilled in this game but on taking the oportunity, and even then you dare say you didnt get your way because you were too trustable to the world, when you betray their trust first. We can't and won't leave it at just that: we will give you such a bad whooping you will think twice about backstabbing ANYONE again. And may God help you if you try MY back again. Player to player I have yet to see if I will respect your gameplay skills or not. Person to person, I call you scum.

So yes, I call the start of this crusade. I walk a fine line between backstabbing and smart play, and I know that if I falter even some, I will trip and fall either way. But, that is the challenge for me, that is the fun I get from BD, and I think every single player can have a similar fun. I don't just think that backstabbing isn't the best way: I know so. I consider many people here in BD friends, and I would do near to anything for them, so I wouldn't betray them in such a way. Have fun trying to take that to your advantage, everyone can see here how many people tried. And I will post here what happens when I fight for it this era :P

G has supported us in this specific war. I have yet to ask them if they do so in the whole crusade thing though. They are a great alliance, with an unique leadership which isn't far from amazing. Even though Im here leading the now-called WWW, or Wild Wild West (Yeeeeehawwwww!!!), I would just love to at least get a glimpse on how they work out. It's truly unique, and I look forward to see them some other eras, watch how they become a juggernaut 8-)

And they're the current rank 2 alliance. So... did that answer your question?
