Hey guys, my ingame name is Commander Anish Mal Or Master Baiter(I use both). I have 26/32 achievements on my account. I don't like to be judged by the number of medals i hold, so not disclosing them
. I'll now guide you guys how to win solo eras on Battle Dawn and Battle Dawn Galaxies. Telling it a Earth 5 SOLO era to simple it down.
Step 1 - Place a colony on your desired solo server when it restarts. However, take care because you must plant when there is only a very little time for the server to restart, say 30 minutes, that too in a place where you don't find huge red boosters near you.This ensures that the position where you placed your colony is safe from any early wars. Early wars are the worst scenario you can face in Battle Dawn.
Step 2 - Try to have a minimum of 1K tokens(reds or blues) before the era starts so that you can take an early lead in the game. If you don't have any tokens on your main account, and not any medals earned in earlier eras, disband your account and make a new one. Plant on servers with tick 500+ in both Battle Dawn and Battle Dawn galaxies to farm 800-1000 blues along with applying for free bonuses like verify mail etc.
Step 3 - Put on a broadcast that you are sleeping and put "JW" after your player name. This should be done because the process to be a top player on solo worlds i describe will get you rank 1 after tick 30-35(depends on how much you boost). So, when people will see that a player who was like rank 50 or 60 at era start and then became rank 1 suddenly, they will feel you a proffesional and realize that someone tried to mess with you and you started playing serious to teach them a lesson
. Thus, they will fear you.
Step 4 - Skip the tutorial. Build level 1, level 2 and level 3 structures of each - food, metal and oil. Then, build barracks and then vehicle factory. Assuming you are a blue booster, boost light worker, light metal and light oil. Then, go for building Beam Weapons factory, Explosive Weapons factory and Damage Units Structure. When completed, you wlll be left with only 100 metal with which just train 1 armour concussive weapons infantry, Don't rush the unit, let it train for 2 ticks. Refresh your client and wait for the ticks to start rolling. Whenever you get any boosts or bonuses, use it for structures mainly, Only use the remainder of a boost for an army.
Step 4 - Use all your tokens at the start of the era. Hence, make sure you are online every 12 ticks to give a boost. Dont always boost oil with metal and workers, only do it when you are low on oil. Next, focus on building the Tanks structure and the Range Units structure. When finished, with as much metal and oil you have, train as many Tanks as possible with Concussive weapons and damage upgrade. Never hurry your units. After 6 ticks, pack 1 tank in each squad and launch on nearby mines. You will have all the mines near you in no time. After you collect nearby mines, make ops at 6-8 ETA range and move some more Tank spam squads to collect the distant mines. Use damage units till tick 30. After tick 30, start building your army in the ratio - 7 range tanks : 3 armour tank. Means to simple it down, in 1 tank squad, put 7 range tanks and 3 armour tanks. No damage tanks. Also make energy structure level 1 and upgrade it till level 3.
Step 5 - Tick 50 - Get peace with some of the players, but never make a player who is close to you, your ally. If you still want to make him your ally, tell him to relocate to a little bit farther spot and let you have the mines in your area. Now, use 1 range tank as spam squads in war. They assure your win by beating the anti-spam squads of your enemy. Next structure you must unlock is scan(basic and advanced), spies and radar structure to level 3 so that you can build radar posts across the map.
Step 6 - Tick 75 - Build Gate structure as they are freaking amazing and can help you teleport across the map. Try to get your radar and gate coverage as far as possible.
Step 7 - Tick 125 - Now, focus on getting your food, metal, oil and energy structures to max(level 5).Then, continue building armies. Try to figure out your main enemy and try to know his chasis. You always use a single chasis and never use mixed chasis because it dies very easy! When you know his chasis, make 50% of your army anti-soldier/vehicle/tank(depends on what he uses) and the remaining 25% on each of the other two weapon types.
Step 8 - Never make deals to split map and allow another player's gate and radar coverage close to your hive unless he is a very trusted player and has player more than 3-5 eras allied to you.
Step 9 - Look to make sub alliances and brother alliances but make sure you know the leader very well and he is a reliabe and responsible players. Offer them around 5 mines so that they know you care for them etc. This makes them know why they are fighting for you. Hence, treat them with respect and make them feel as important as you(main alliance). Make sure that they pick a different chasis from yours so that your enemies need to tailor their armies in 3 weapons, to combat you.
Step 10 - Learn efficient war tactics. I will also post some here which i know. There are some tricks like Relocate and Lock trick, ETA match, Oil Save trick(not war trick but still), Tricker for early game before people have shields, nuke firing trick, nuke fields setup trick, Placing agents on all your op so that you can lockdown or virus your enemy when needed. When you are moving in an enemy territory with your army to war him, always make your own ops at 4-6 ETA range and never attack your enemie's ops or else you will be lockdown'ed and virused because they are also expected to have agents planted on all your ops. Always move your spy along with your army and place agents on as many hostile ops you can(here comes the benefit of getting maxed your energy structure. Never be in war with more than one top 15 ranked enemies at a time. So, make non-aggression pacts with other players who are not allied to you then. Make sure to match ETA with the enemy on every move! When you are attacked by 10 squads, move 10 armour infantry spam squads to defend the outpost, the enemy cant scan your troops and know what you are sending, and is most likely to pull back out of fear. There's one thing called deception. Push forward with your armies very hard during the day and then pull back hard as if you are sleeping or losing, but utilize the time here to place agents on all outposts and confusing the enemy. Also, many of us dont do the delay however very few know how to use it. Delay your squads while moving after landing on an outpost so that you are immune to lockdown! Also, when a nuke is approaching, use delay. Say, ETA of nuke is 5. While moving, set a delay of 3 ticks. Notice that ETA - Delay should always be equal to 2. There's also a guide for firing nukes keeping in mind that a 12-tick nuke takes larger jumps than a 6-tick nuke about which i should cover in my next guides in detail!
Step 11 - Never attack an enemy outpost which has 24 control ticks in it! Conversely, if an enemy attacks your outpost which has 24 control ticks, at the end of tick when his attack is at ETA 1, relocate one of your conquers to that outpost and your enemy will be trapped! Remember, the spy is the most important in this game and most of the players neglect it! Use your spy to the maximum! When a conquered colony of yours gets a crystal, move 3 squads to one of your outposts with 24 control ticks. When your squads are at ETA 1, relocate the conquer to that outpost and you will get the crystal for nothing!
Step 12 - Be active throughout the era but be more active at around tick 500 - 700 because that is the time when the relics drop. Scan the relic before attacking. Still send a spam squad and then your army at a delay of 1 tick so that you get the battle report if the relic and calculate your losses beforehand through the battle simulator. If the casualties are not so much high, then go for the relic. When you capture it, immediately make it start moving near your colony if you are far from oceans or at the corner of the oceans(what most pepople do), This ensures that those relics stay protected.
Step 13 - Try to capture as many relics as possible so that you can end the era as fast as possible. When all relics are captured, ask other players if they want to end the era by handing you relics. If not, simply wait till Max tick of the server approaches.
Step 14 - You must be good in politics! However, make sure you know that politics is a double edged sword and you can kill your enemies with it and also get killed with it! Just some basics, when you are fighting a war, make sure to message each and every potential opponent of your enemy by telling that it is a good time to attack since you are keeping them busy! Also, don't make promises which you can't keep and most importantly, be a man of honour!
Step 15 - When you win the era, the admin will feed you with hell number of blues and a sweet medal/ribbon. Use your medal/ribbon to brag around. Still, when you have won, be a graceful winner as no one likes gloaters. Use your blue tokens earned from this era again next era and try to do all the stuff written here even more earlier than this guide because that time you will have more blue tokens. So, you can win next era also like that if you play well like this era.
