it doesnt promote having a small power just that anyone who had a bad time but really deserves it gets to stay in his place instead of having to start from rank 1000 again thats why i chose yes with tweaks
plus how would you guys feel if you are rank 1 but you get gang banged while you are not logged on and you loose everything would you prefer to stay in top 10-20 or start from rank 1000 like you are a noob could you imagine that

hi friends as i believe there should the new and the old system as killing units we get the score and even getting relics: d.. and even score for launching missles

Right now, there is no differentation for range, damage and armor at all. I think this should be fixed first of all. Killing a range unit should give you more score, and people suiciding armor on you should give you less score. Therefore I propose a range kill giving 1 score, a damage kill giving 0.5 score and an armor kill giving 0.2 score. This would give more score for actual wars where range units are killed and would give less score for just killing newbs with armor.
However, I want to see another fix to the system. I believe you should get score from killing anyone, regardless of their power. However as this seems to go against some fundamental "newbie bashing" requirements I propose you get score from anyone you kill that has over 40/50 power, limit to be discussed later. The reason for this is that it is just really annoying, even as a high power player, to have people attacking you or you having to attack them because they keep bothering you and not getting any score when you are actually taking quite some losses from all their range units.
That is my perspective on it, although I would like to reiterate the fact that I would rather see this way of gaining score removed. I believe that the current system of experience, more crystals due to garrisons and gaining territory should be sufficient reasons to fight.
If anyone is wondering why I do not support the 2x power part, it is because I do not think we should discourage gaining power. Disencouraging gaining power does not only discourage for example sustaining your worker count and getting conquers, it also discourages boosting. If you want to gain score it is actually better to rush units sometimes to kill off your workers and to have low power in general as you would otherwise get no (or less, in some suggested cases) score for kills. In my opinion we should not want a system that discourages gaining power, so a system based on getting score relative to your power is in essence flawed to me. Agrees with this. And the Power required to get score can be categorized in to tiers based on ticks on a world. Like <100 ticks - all kills gets score, 200-300 ticks- all kills >25 power(enemy's power) gets score and like that..... and something like that. And the score u get from this should be based on more of the amount of soldiers engaged in that battle. I like the way different type(range armor dmg) gets different score for killing. Also, the score system can be abused in many ways, so better let it go. We get enough XP for killing units itself. ps : only read first page of thread.

I like the idea of battle score system but their r 5 problems 1.we should get different score range,damage and armour 2.if a person loose more than he killed, his battle score should be deducted this way a person can loose and get battle score 3.its that their is no coloum of battle score in community tollbar get it as soon as possible 4.we should get score by killing admin units too as it is still a kill 5.that half power system should be removed because ones we start getting different score for damage,armour and range then their is no need for this half scores

I love you Michael, you're a great guy, and you sometimes have great ideas, but many of the changes and fixes have made the game less fun and have never been changed back into what they were before. Personally, I like the look of this new system but it has a lot of issues; primarily its not very easy to get the hang of as there doesn't appear to be a logical ratio that can be followed by a player without having to read up on it.
The gaining of score from battle is a good concept. It encourages the purpose of the game while allowing players, such as myself and a number of my alliance (MSRT E2), who do not boost too push for ground in combat early on. However, it has also pushed us back as we cannot seem to grasp the detail of the scoring to help reclaim our regular position.
With a bit of tweaking, a clear ratio; or at the very least a more clear message of the score gained; then the system could work.
