Your feedback about the Battle score

Don't know if its been suggested.....but what about instead of 0 score for the loser, let them still get some score, but base it on the percentage (opposite) of the winners army.

So if I attack someone and win and My army Performance = 87%

Then the losers battle score:
Original system = 0 points
New system (since turned off) = 500 points (made that number up...but assume they killed enough soliders to score that many points)
My suggested system = 65 points (13% of 500 points they would have got on the new system)

This way, in large alliance battles where 1000's of units die, the losers still get some sort of score, relevant to how they performed in battle, instead of just a blanket 0 or hard coded to the amount of soliders etc?

Just an idea.

I am sick of all these changes, I thought the scoring system wasn't too bad, it was decent, it was helping me towards getting a medal on F1 without boosting, also been relying on it because my alliance aint active enough to help us all get score, I've been going crazy on everyone all era on F1 grabbing as many conquers as I can, killing as many enemy units as I can, and for a while I was making some nice score, then I am in the middle of fighting a war, one of my members dies, and the killers most likely got score because they killed his army just a few ticks before the scoring system went down, I killed the leader of the alliance just a couple of ticks late and didn't get crap score wise, just a loss of units which of course, dragged my score down. Battle Dawn is becoming a huge joke now, you guys tested this crap out before on RC.BD and Kong right? You guys shouldn't just implement an ok scoring system with flaws then remove it in only a month, now that's pretty stupid, this is why people are starting to dislike Battle Dawn. Also people should get score for killing units of people who have half the power as the killer, I mean come on you guys never gave a damn for 7 years about regulars conquering newbies, at least you could have just given them 30-50% extra score than experienced players. I might have to quit Battle Dawn because of these changes, twas a great game but now it's very messed up. I might reconsider moving back to Command & Conquer and that is a very bland game >.>

well according to me idea of gaining score from battles was awsome i mean before that score meant nothing to me.. but after that scoring system i understood how important it is to have score from battle..u know it doent make any sence to gain score in a war game from cristals and just making army and not from the fights u carry out...those who fight for their alliance get nothing out of it but losing score as they lose army..and those who does nothing but just making army go higer..

the old scoring system just leads every one to fight less make more peace treaties do nothing and just make army..no fun at all

now the new scoreing system came up and i actually started enjoying it and so as many..was planning to buy 6000 tokens for next era to go all crazy..but suddenly every thing stoped...becouse of those players complians who did nothing previous eras..

any way htat was a great great change and some changes might be done but ganing score from battles should be there other wise there will be no fun in fighting big wars

Just to find any solution of this situation , everyone is complaining 'how good scoring system was' .

State your opinions how Scoring System must be improved .

just look at F5 and see how stupid thier scoring system is, that game alone says it all,LOL

i have to laugh at these admins, cause they do not know what thier doing to thier own game. rather than you keep the same old system that is perfectly fine and fair, they wnna turn it into some circus performing game, for clowns.

you admins might aswell get rid of relics and crystals, thier will be no need for them anymore, thier more of a fun thing to do now, not a priority.

this is my time now to explain my own opinion.

i read all forum about that battle score question, although i early explained my own opinions to some admins.
first of everything : people dont like when you disagree with them. Sorry, but you admins did anything with that score system. You dont respect players, changing rules every 4 mornings.

Only inside that current E2 era, we had 4 score systems
1) no score in battles
2) score in battles, = units killed in soldiers equivalent, with zero score anyway for double powered players..
3) score in battles = units killed - units dead
4) back to no score in battles
..
You admins really are a pack of clowns, when you affirmed to me that new score system was not a test but a perfectly thinked new update (Simmens and Ilona). Plus, you dare to say i am arrogant when i say to you the deep of my thoughts. If you want, i am arrogant, to show your own weaknesses, that doesnt matter.
If you were so sure, you would not have to change it but would have been definitly adopted and applied, without now have to change it non stop, stop it and now trying to make us think you will ask our opinions.

my own alliance in that E2 had all members with +250 power when you suddenly changed the score rules. Morality, we gained zero score in big battles because of too high power, when our enemies could gain douzains of thousands points fighting us.
That is not complicate, just have a look at that current E2 score board, it talks itself.
That doesnt change HINI played well, but rules changing each 4 mornings spoiled and wasted the era, faslified rankings and falsified whole era, anyway, to make it a parody of a game, with 4 score systems in half an era...

You admins really misrespect players, and instead of testing rules, changing them non stop, and after ask feed back and opinions, you should better use the other way : ask opinions first, test on your RC server and apply only when it is definitly considered good update.

maybe i didnt make the problem progress in that post, i didnt here exposed my opinion about score system, for everyone. I did it early in private with admins
Maybe in a next post, i will expose to you my opinions about that rules tests but i feel already i wasted too much of my time, with my arrogance, talking with stubborn people thinking they finally found the Grail with their new updates but in reality have to change them each 4 days, 3 times again in half an era. I explained and developped my opinions in private to Simmens and Ilona, but i doubt that will change something. Only when i look at the results of the poll, there are half people thinking the first update was good, when if they thought of the problem in it's globality, they should say the system is not bad but needed to be much batter balanced and improved.

Lot of people reading my post will know who i am, not even need i reveal my ingame pseudo, anyway, that will change nothing for you, i am not trying to be considered or be loved, or be qualified of an arrogant man..

I'm not 100% sure on what the system actually is, it seems like the score you get from battles can not be lost. If that is the case then it is ridiculous because now you can lose everything you own and still be rank 1 which is what seems to be happening on most worlds. My solution to this would be that the score you get from the battle is attached to the unit that got it for you. That way when the unit dies you lose the score it gave you. So when you lose your entire army you actually drop down hundreds of ranks instead of just a few. Or alternatively you add some other kind of entity to the game that has the battle score attached to it.

Thanks mate. Finally a post again with an idea of a solution. We thought about having it attached to the colony, so when you get conquered, you'll lose it ...but this would be way to harsh and doesn't fit to the main intention of rewarding fighting... more defending.
Actually I can imagine it - same as units XP is attached to each unit and not to the ruler of the unit.


For now, we can think of following scenarios:
1. Different score for different kind of units. Armor gives less then damage and damage gives less then range
2. 1Power = 30 score instead of 10. So if you lose Power, you'll lose score
3. score can be lost (see above for example )
4. Battle score will stay permanently off
5. a brand new idea. YOURS!

You can see, its not easy and we rely on you and your experience as player.
Whatever we do in future, we will do it like we did it with the old system.
That means it will stay for at least 3 weeks on RC (the last one was also before 4 weeks on kong + 3 weeks rc)

The game has been all the time improved by the players and I hope we can continue like this!

I loved the new battle scorring system in the beggining as it offered a way to get more score and look more AWESOME! but that changed when i noticed that the (Example) Rank 1 and rank 2 allaince could go to war... they get into a big battle but the rank 1 had more power then the rank 2 so some players got less score b/c of that. The Rank 1 beat the rank 2 in the battle but the rank 2 got so much score it launched there dead players into the top ranks. Robbing the rank 1 allaince players of possible medals.

What is suggest is maybe The loser(S) get only 1/2 or 1/3 the score they wouldve gotten for killing the "X" amount of units while the winners got all of what they deserved
