a tweak
wehne we attack anything and if 2 armies r present the power of those 2 colonies should be added and then the normal rule should follow

why don't u, instead of looking at its bad side and complain about it or want it remove, look at its good side and try to suggest a way to improve it? The original scoring system already rewarded people for taking part in wars in the form of wreckages from battle and XP points. You dont need more. You are talking about a scoring system that unfairly increases the score for a person. So like Avi explained to me, if a person has 30 score, and if I have 100 score, even if he suicides and dies, his score will increase for whatever he killed? But none for me cuz I am way too powerful. Thats ridiculous. If I have enough units and dont build any more because of overhead or whatever, the guy can keep attacking me every now and then and gain score and heck get ahead of me just by suiciding units and killing a few armor? Man this is like socialism lol. A tweak would be: Increase score for both or Dont increase score as long as the battle is in your favor. Aka you win the battle. Only then you get an increase in score for the units killed. And remove that power limit for the score increase.

the new update for the battle score system that was planned will fix that to an extent though. But there is one problem still exists, that is the power limit. Which eventually make the players undesired to get a high power since they will get no score from suiciding squads.
one thing I still don't like is how u can't lose the score u gained through the battle. I mean, yeah the new update will gonna lower the score u gain a lot but it's still un-lose-able... which is not a good idea for me. I think I has covered that in my first post the new battle score system means it will reward score for those who kill more than u lose. So if u lose 100, but killed 150 in return, u'll get score, no matter if u lose or win the battle.

I have not read the rest of this thread but i just dont like that this can happen: Also it's very annoying when i get 0 score from killing people with 300+ units with range and are half my score. Here we kill 3.5k units and barley get ANY score just because they are not as powerful...something needs to be fixed.

they all join forces before the end and merge into a one big happy alliance. this alliance will have around 40k points without holding even 1 crystal. they don't need army, they don't have to fight anyone, and they didn't boost. with few boosts, you can probably get to around 50-60k points which in the last e1 would be a nice competitor at #1. without holding 1 crystal, did i mention that already?
Even more stupid is the limitation of power differences. you want to prevent bully'ing the weak, but what really happens now is that weak colonies attacking stronger ones all the time. they keep losing, but they dont mind because they keep getting score for it. so theoretically, they can lose all the time but eventually pass the ones that they were bothering, only because those were more powerful so never got any score for those stupid battles.
Last example from last e1: AI did not attack PRAE because they were tanks and PRAE were vecs, and since vecs have bonus against tanks, AI didnt want to let them get the score for their killings, while AI would get less because they were more powerful. so you wanted to get more battles, but here is an example of how you missed a big one.
so this scoring system sucks, and any other way to describe it would be just pretending.
sorry for being the party pooper again make a rule sayin tht an alliance should have held atleast 1 relic in the era for a minimum number of ticks or something like tht n tht will fix ur issue

This simple.. u score points depending on how many units killed without rank playing a part,, Example
Langy 500 units sent 49 Armour dead.. 49 points to the opponent
Joe Blow 460 units defending: Loss 460 units
Langy scores 460 points
If group attack divide points as same as you have it at the moment depending on how many units sent into battle..
Encourages Fighting and also Doesn't have an Arch enemy sitting top 10 because he is continually attacked all era losing his units every time and still achieving a top 10 rank.

I like simple ideas but this one is to easy to abuse and would lead to newbie bashing for sure. Score farming by killing armor of friends or multies would be the result imo.

still alot things r needed to be updated like this a person can be stilled attacked for battle points if u guys r ready to give me 1k-2k blues i am ready to find all the errors in wiki i am serious
