obama is commiting more troops.

while it might seem necessary, i fear this is going to be a repeat of vietnam.

history does repeat itself.

Australia has troops commited there too

Afghanistan is the major source of the world heroin trade.

anyways, USA is going to send more troops to fund the training of an aghanistani army. and they in turn will fight the taliban.
we will see 2 forces fight, both trained by the US of A. oh the irony?

i cbs posting a massive thing so... discuss, share, enlighten, rant...

IMO the surge will work and then We'll withdraw our troops and their country will slowly devolve into a mess again.

Just like I see happening in Iraq IMO as we'll be pulling out they'll ask for help and Obama and the dems will turn their back on it and use it as an example of how bad the Republicans are for starting the war and invading in order to win more votes and continue their socialist agenda and blame everyone but themselves as our economy is crashing even worse by then.

Since they control 90% of the US media no one will know anything otherwise as most of the U.S. population is poorly informed.

1. who is pulling out 6 YEARS AFTER SOME TOOL SAID "mission accomplished"
2. who is finally going to stop getting Americans killed for almost no reason other then fairytale WMDs.
3. from current market perspectives, its unlikely US markets will "crash even worse" they are currently in precarious but relatively stable positions and are slowly recovery as with any market cycle.
4. Fox News. the single greatest source of guys getting hicks to deliver what they think might be true as long as it is pro republican AND anti democrat.
5. everything you stated was YOUR OWN predictions with nothing backing it up like expert anecdotal evidence of plain facts. im assuming you work for Fox News?

ouch, i felt that burn all the way here in australia :P

what does any of that have to do with commies?

besides. the UN shouldnt be dragged into a war they dont want (do you know how much wartime efforts cost??? most are countries that went through WWI and WWII, last thing they want is more war). NATO on the other hand can be pressured this way and that...
