Were there because were paranoid in my opinion. Were to afraid that they may attack us/be attacked depending on our diplomatic stance with them. We want a base in India so we know we have a little control and heads up of a war and can prevent it.

Ya it's about time US withdraw troops from Afghan n Iraq.. But the situation there is not good for immediate withdrawal of all troops.. It should be a systematic procedure..

Its not paranoia - in the government. The paranoia is with the American people, because they buy whatever the government says. Cant blame them cuz the propaganda is quite strong. Tell me how in the world Iraq or say even Iran can attack the US? US has absolutely NO existential threats. They CREATE these threats just to go to war cuz a few people in power can use it and earn money through investments in the country that is attacked. Problem is these private corporate leaders are your politicians. So there is never really gonna be any "pulling out" or withdrawing or whatever. It will be war for another 30-40 years or more if things are not set right politically within the US.

As for India, yeah I read the US wanted a base there around 2003. But India refused. Lets keep it that way. We dont want some other country building military bases on our land and taking away our sovereignty. Everytime the US builds a base anywhere, that country will either become a slave politically or economically. No Thanks.

Power corrupts. It's just a fact. Things will never be better in the US government. For Christ's sake, We haven't had a competent president since the 80's.

A worldwide survey was conducted by the UN. The only question asked was:"Would you please give your honest opinion about solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world?"
The survey was a huge failure...
In Africa they didn't know what "food" meant.
In Eastern Europe they didn't know what "honest" meant.
In Western Europe they didn't know what "shortage" meant.
In China they didn't know what "opinion" meant.
In the Middle East they didn't know what "solution" meant.
In South America they didn't know what "please" meant.
And in the USA they didn't know what "the rest of the world" meant.

Possibly. The US is just as likely to go to Syria than they are Iran.
