Again, you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something - your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life. ~Steve Jobs

Doesn't sound like a corporate shark to me.

One smart quote doesnt make him a humanitarian and a kind businessman. When you build an empire like Apple, you gotta be a crook.

Steve Jobs was a brilliant businessman. But that shouldnt bother us. If he didnt do it, someone else would have.

This guy was hated even in Apple. He used to be extremely aggressive, used emotional blackmail, like crying in front of the board to get something passed etc

Anyway, a businessman isnt someone for whom we need to be really sad.

Why do you hate businessmen so much? It couldn't be and isn't possible that all businessmen are terrible people. And if he was a jackass, that's understandable. He was put up for adoption by his own parents. And being as big as he was couldn't have been an easy job.

I dont hate businessmen. They just happen to be assholes in their public life. In their private life they might be really good people, but that isn't something we come across. We only come across them in their institutional life. The fact that there is a lot of competition and the fact that theirs is a high pressure job, makes them aggressive crooks, that will do anything to earn a buck. When you finish college and get a job in a corporate, you will understand what am talking about.

I always admired Steve Jobs. I am sad that he died. R.I.P Steve Jobs.

Why not be sad? Steve Jobs was a visionary - not in terms of discovering new technologies, but for applying them to the general public and changing and marketing them in a way that people will want to use them. He made technology cool, he made it accessible. And losing him will slow down the general process of adoption quite a lot by humanity as a whole.

But Steve Jobs did it. Not some other guy. As of now, I don't see anyone capable of doing things the Steve Jobs way...
