Here is a good bump to re-enfoce my point of view that this whole thing going on in Libya is a propaganda ploy, and only shows the true feathers of the birds trying to convince us that we need a global "war on terror", when in fact they are not interested in fighting terror. This is a war about money, power and consolidation of resources disguised as a war on terror.

In Libya, the UN and USA are funding the same "rebels" to do their bidding that the USA and allied forces are fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq!

My proof? Here, read the following article and draw your own conclusions. The sources are all there, and essentially, you dont have to hear it from me, you can hear it from the mouth of the very man that is recognized by the USA and UN as the new "Leader of Libya":

CLICK HERE FOR THE LONDON TELEGRAPH ARTICLE

Maybe it is just me, but I see a glimpse into the hypocrisy at work here, and I find it to be very disturbing. It shows how propaganda is widely used to sway opinion without giving all of the facts, while still giving you the impression that your ARE getting all of the facts. However, little stories like this largely ignored by mainstream media never make it to your television set, so unless you somehow get the bug to question the motives of such an invasion (which most people will not do, as they take all of what is told to them for truth) and do some footwork with that in mind, you would never find them!

Just goes to show. Friends today, enemies tomorrow. Dont cross the UN!

I couldnt have said it better Seth. I just dont understand how all these Sheeple, yes I call whoever buys into propaganda sheeple, think that this war is for humanitarian reasons. I mean first of all how is bombing a country humanitarian? Bull. Indeed this whole "War on Terror" thingy is new age colonialism. Thats what it is. They wanna be controlling the whole of the middle east. Whoever is against the UN and USA will be destroyed and a puppet government irrespective of their credibility, will be installed as long as they suck up to both these CORPORATES. The next one in line to suffer is definitely Iran.

Gadaffi may not be an icon of peace and humanitarianism, but thinking that we are "saving" the people of Libya is utter nonsense. It really angers me how a few in power can go ahead do whatever they want, and then justify it with such nonsense and it angers me even more, how people actually BUY into all of that.

BTW, Gadaffi looks like an old woman wrapped in a bedsheet in that pic

Well, rest assured that a good chunk of the American people are waking up to this (at least I sincerely hope so). We have very few beacons of hope to look to, and the number fades every day.

Hopefully people begin to switch of their TVs and look to independant unbiased non-corporate media to get their information, and begin to look into their elected officials. Politicians here in the states say whatever is popular to get into office and then give the people the axe and a swath of excuses why it isnt proper to hold up those promises (case in point: Obama > "Change We Can Believe In" > Bypassing congress illegally to get us involved in Libya after promising to end the unsustainable wars)

Thats cool though mfreak. It is good to know that there are still free thinkers out there. ;)

I will disagree about the "next one in line" though. Iran is too big, too rich, and too well armed. They need more momentum and resources before that can happen. Also, if you look toward propaganda trends, you will see that Syria is already being geared up as the next in line.

Yeah I know. I said Iran because they definitely have them listed as another country to take down in the middle east. The ONLY way to get this to come to an end, is for people to be well informed, and elect proper people into power starting with senators, in the case of the US.

Showing preferred news is one thing. Assuming people cant make a difference between the Indian and Libyan flags shows what they think about the general public. Useless tards!! :D

Yah, that was BBC london, and pretty much reflects what the "news" does here in the States.

puts me in mind of a really good song: A Perfect Circle: "Pet" (caution, there is a swear word in there.)
