not sure how reliable the source is, but saw an article that there were 18 million abortions in china in a year, kinda sick when u think that my contry got 4-5 millions only..

one child policy makes getting a son to pass on the family line preferable. and a lot of abortions are state sanctioned :/

where you from sinmen?

china does have a MASSIVE population so the per capita might make the figures rounder.

http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/hea_a ... per-capita

although china doesnt give out information.

http://www.atimes.com/atimes/China/IE31Ad01.html
its taiwanese, you can trust that it isnt biased.
7 mil.~~ reported, i would think roughly 10-11 mil is more likely knowing the chinese government and statistics.
but it wont be exaggerated if it gets up as high as 12-14 mil

if you read through that link, youll note that forced abortions do happen even though its supposedly agaisnt chinese law.
its generally only forced on those who cant afford to pay the fine.
my relatives in china can wave the fine to the side however, especially in rural areas, many people cant afford to pay the fine.

that article ends with saying a thorough education systen would acheive results, please see india. people use the condoms handed out for free to hold and store water.

so... is the cure better then the disease in this case? keeping the population under check allowed china to distribute food better, help keep up education levels and reduced the strain on water that china already has.
population alive with dead ones vs possible population not living so well.

What balance do you talk about? Unspecialized stemcells are indeed life. They are working at becoming something fantastic.
You are right, that teenage girl could become the first woman president. For that reason, you shouldn't force her to stop her education. I agree. However, I fail to see the connection. Except, perhaps, that neither abortion nor forcing a person to abandon their education should be done.

if they are life, everytime you masturbate god kills 1 billion kittens. every period is killing the source of life. unspecialized stem cells are merely cells. otherwise that umbilical chord is considered life, how dare you detach it?

cant have the best of both worlds, unless you suggest that a teenager should go through high school stresses of being ridiculed and tests while being 8 months pregnant? i think the miscarriages would do far more damage. if the baby does survive then you opt that it should be thrown into the system. how many get aborted each year? how much can the system hold?
if you are telling a teen girl to then look after the child then any career opportunities vanish in an instant. all aspirations, hopes and dreams are instantly set alight and burned. IMHO sometimes not allowing the abortion results in more harm then good

again, stem cells isnt a fetus.

its a mass of unspecialized cells.

just normal cells, no organs, no thought, no life, no nothing. just cells.

My apologies for not understanding clearly.
Being ridiculed in school, personally, is far better than being depressed and killing oneself.
Why does the pregnancy have to occur the same time as school? Take a break for a year or so, then go back. Public schools can't not accept a student.
And how dare you to say the system can't hold a child? You'd rather stop life then give the child an opportunity? That is what the system was designed to do. The government can always adapt to spacing. Eminent domain.
And how do you know for certain that unspecialized cells aren't life? Who are you to say that life doesn't begin at conception.
Oh, and yes, you shouldn't masturbate.
