animals have the right to be tasty.

our cecum wouldnt have shrunk so much if we were to be purely vegetarians in the wild with tough greens to try and break down, the cellulose would just say "screw you, here, have death"

i disagree violently with a lot of PETA's pronouncements.

1) if God hadnt wanted us to eat meat, he wouldnt have made them out of food.

2) they are rabid fundamentalists of the worst sort. they engage in terrorism (look the word up for yourself, and match it against their known activities, and then get back to me...), and cannot be reasoned with.

3) any 'science' they spout is (usually) a 1-sided diatribe, replete with factual errors, omissions, and broad generalities.

4) fur. i have no problem with fur, as long as it is harvested from non-endangered species, in a humane and ethical way as possible.
i have several fur articles at home, all take from animals i shot. I skun them myself, my father tanned the hides and sewed the clothes. they are warm, comfortable, and (i think) good looking. the animals were dispatched with clean head-shots, and the meat eaten. why waste the fur? to not make use of any by-product is a waste, and devalues the death of the animal concerned. i dont care if the animal is cute, or as ugly as hell. the main argument for the PETA mob seems to be 'save the cute things!'...

5) i support experimentation, cos we'd be a whole lot worse off now without it. keep the animals treated as well as possible (most lab rats have better working living conditions than 75% of the population of this planet...
