Good for you, now that you have erected and destroyed a strawman, please turn your attention to the fact this is gun control. No government is dumb enough to go around taking guns away from unwilling people. That just spells disaster, there are buy backs and laws you can put in place if the number of guns in circulation is low to even lower the number. You can limit the number of fire arms being sold or the caliber and power of those guns. This is all about control of a deadly weapon, why, how. Not "Hurr durrr. they have to pry it from my cold dead hands"
