Most Islamic nations have death penalty for drugs. Bangladesh, Pakistan, all the middle eastern nations etc

And talk about the fact that a lady that killed the guy that raped her in Saudi, had her head cut off for murder. LOL. Death penalty is a serious joke. Ranging from absurdity to atrocity.

Today, as he has every day for the past eight months, Anders Behring Breivik will sit down to a wholesome breakfast of porridge or home-made brown bread served with either cheese or ham, and a jug of black coffee...

After the early breakfast he then undertakes his regular exercise regime in his gym, where he has a treadmill.

Breivik enjoys a ‘suite’ of three adjoining 86 sq ft cells. One is a bedroom, one the gym and the third has a computer – without internet access – and serves as a study...

After a brisk work-out, Breivik settles down to read the newspapers. Once he has caught up with the news and the latest on his upcoming trial, he either plays a computer game – only non-violent games are allowed – or relaxes in front of a DVD or a television show.

He has access to a family package of 15 television channels. In 2009 prisoners campaigned for, and were granted, access to legal pornography in their cells. He also has a room-service bell which he can ring to have cigarettes delivered to him.

After lunch, the killer is allowed a spell of fresh air in an enclosed yard...

After letter-writing, it is dinner. Breivik can expect to be served typical Norwegian fare such as meatballs with gravy and potatoes, or cod.

He killed 77 people, mostly children. Now he plays video games and watches TV, eating home cooked meals. Would I rather he just gets a bullet in the head? Yes.

Its just the way the article is written. The journalist has already taken a stance. He has convicted him, in his heart. He wants him dead. And therefore he writes in a way, as if this criminal has 5 star luxury. So here, lemme rephrase it:

Quote:
Today, as he has for the past eight months, Anders Behring Breivik, sits down to eat his meagre breakfast of porridge or bread with a jug of coffee. After the regular breakfast, he then excercises in the gym, that has a treadmill.

Breivik has a cramped 86 sq ft cell, in which he is locked up 23 hours a day. There are 2 other cells, one which is the gym and the other an old computer without internet access to serve as a study.

After the work-out, Breivik is allowed to read newspapers. Once he has caught up with the news, he is allowed an hour of computer games, or a TV show. He has a bell in his room, which he has to ring, in order to have a smoke.

After lunch, he is allowed an hour by himself, alone, in the yard.

After letter-writing it is dinner. Breivik is typically served meatballs and potatoes or cod.

Although, not so eloquent as the journalist, you can see how you can manipulate thought, just through an article. Question is, what good would it do, if this guy is put to death? Going to jail and not having freedom by itself is a punishment. And killing him isnt going to bring back the 77 children.

Edit:Not sure why it got posted twice

PS: I read there in that article he has some personality disorder? How do you kill sick people? Even if they have committed violent crimes?

Even what you write sounds like far too good of a life style for someone who killed children.

Also, you can't say "an hour" for those activities, since you actually don't know. I don't know either, though.

Yeah thats cuz am not as good in article writing :D Am sure someone who is adept at doing it, can write a more convincing one, change little details like I did and present information in a way he wants his audience to understand. That what I wanted to convey.

excellent, because you are angry and emotional, let us come together and proceed to defecate upon another country's legal system. i remember leaving a fat post describing the difference between justice and mob brutality. if you dont seperate the two, then you dont have a functioning society.

lets go to 1870.
that man is black.
i lost some mail recently.
that black man is to blame.
he 'attacked' me and ran away.
i gather my friends.
we enact 'justice' because he apparently 'attacked' me
lynch mob.
justice.

you are somehow thinking you are making the norway judicial system better.

how about in other countries, they will see a raped women in the western society and would charge her with adultery. punishable by death in certain situations. Would they rather she get publically whipped until death from blood loss? Yes.

HUZZAH!
