I am an American. I hate the foreign policy of the US as well.

The problem with it is that it is anti-American. If you would look at other threads where I bring up the US Constitution, you can probably tell by now that I truly believe it is the best thing that the US has. The foreign policy of this once *near* perfect nation is absurdly unconstitutional in nearly every way.

First off, I will bet you anything that over half of all hatred against the US is because of the actions and more importantly interventions that the US has taken outside of its own borders. If you don't think interventions make people a little bit peaved, just think about it this way. What if China were to hack the US elections to get a more pro China president? Yeah, I'd hate China too. Just replace China with the US, and hacking with military coups.

Second, why in god's name does America need troops in nearly every country on Earth? And yes, we do have troops in over 150 countries around the globe. Im too lazy to find a more suitable link, but the facts here are true. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deployment ... s_Military

So when I say that the US was once near perfect, it is because the US Constitution, when followed, allows for freedom to truly reign, and for the flaws to be flushed out as they appear, however, nothing is perfect, that is why flaws are flushed out

Look, I can tell you for durn sure that America is not a *bad* country. Its government is the only part of it that can really be passed off as *bad* but only because of the corruption and politics (which I guess is really now one in the same...)

how many of them purposely created military coups in other countries resulting in dictatorships and suffering?

USA have over stepped their bounds on multiple occassions in order to secure things ranging from the popular vote to ensure resources flowing to countries stay at a low price.

I think it's annoying when some countries whine about United States doing too much to interfere in the affairs of others, but then later those same countries whine about us not doing enough.

through a democratic election, USA supported a party with funds, when the socialist government got into power democratically and despite his opposition getting funding, USA pulled a military coup which resulted in thousands dead, an oppressive dictatorship, power overthrown from a legitimate democracy and overall negative consequences unless you are friends with the army.

imagine if china funded an obscure party with millions of dollars to help campaign, when that party loses, they use their men to militarily overthrow the rightfully elected govnernment and replace it with a military dictatorship.

He makes some valid points. Its actually become understandable for the outside world to hate us. Weve thrown our weight around in the last century. Is it shocking that the outside world is hating us? Weve resorted to violence over and over again for problems that could've been solved by discussion.

Although Americans are completely brainwashed. I always wondering if kids in schoold pre-K up to highschool were taught to believe that their country was the greatest of them all. but yeah, u might be right, but as i got older i learned to see the mistakes of norway, not so much our foreign policy since we don't go to war or anything, but police here are pritty messed up and so is child service, i can admit it, but as we learned at school:
