NWO =/= globalisation. globalisation is inevitable as borders weaken and trade is encouraged. the internet and planes have meant people and information flow from one country to another easier than every before. globalisation has been happening for as long as humans started sailing and spreading their culture elsewhere.

you forget that even in an unified country, it can be split into factions of cultures. people are far more likely to align themselves with their perceived country/culture/ideals then an ambiguous mega country.
in short. globalisation for another 100 years. growth for another 100 years. bring most countries up to a developed standard of living for at least an entire lifetime so the older values die out as the older generation die out (this has been seen with many values and ideals over the years, you need to wait for the old stubborn people to die for the new values to be taken up). then a single unified world can be created. but currently? heck no. its impossible, even if forced, it will fracture within days regardless the amount of force and brutality you use.

i dont just reject the NWO conspiarcy because its nutters, i reject it because human nature will not allow for it. not yet at least.

ultimately, i dont even think a single nation is that profitable, you need competition for rapid growth.

that said, the recent problems of europe show that the EU grouping is not that successful and that many countries have to take a gamble if they are going to support one another to protect the shared currency.

in short globalisation cant be stopped, you need to fully censor the internet and make most countries like north korea to halt it and even then with the number of immigrants in most countries taken into account, it might not make a significant difference.

Back in the day, how did Britain successfully conquer India? They did so, because India was divided into princely states. They first came to India to do Trade. In the form of the East India Company. East India Company, wherever it found resources like Coal for example (India is one of those with large reserves of coal), they used to establish themselves, and would enjoy the patronage of local princes. They used to bribe them, turn one state against another etc., thereby dividing and ruling effectively.

If you fast forward to today, the US does the same. Regime changes, tons of money given to friendly royal families in the middle east like Saudi, UAE etc, in return for access to their resources. Those who dont support suffer war and invasions.

Apart from that I dont really believe in science fiction stuff like implants or death camps (though Gitmo is no different if you think about it - it is indeed a concentration camp...well almost) or fluoride contamination etc.,

Also I do agree, that globalization cannot really be done away with. Globalization is what got America and the rest of the world to where they are today. Globalization therefore should exist. People from various cultures should come together and learn to coexist. Many people also dont favor globalization because they hate multiculturalism, which is another consequence of globalization. I do view multiculturalism positively though, as long as people remember the saying - "Be a roman in Rome"

No need to yell at AceSoldier, but one thing to remember is that everyone needs medical insurance. You are worried about paying your monthly premiums, what if you get hit by a car and need a brain surgery and you dont have neither the money nor insurance? As you get older you will understand that you need insurance. More and more. Nothing wrong about mandating someone to buy it. IMO.
