oh well...

in war, u must face the death in every second. With that kind of situation, everyone will have to be mentally exhausted, or should I say, corrupted. They kill just for the sake of killing, just to feel safe that the others' lives are under their hands, not theirs on the others. And there are ppl who joined the war without knowing the dark motive behind the war, they joined becuz they believe they are doing the right things (saving Iraq ppl from the Taliban, for example).

That's why, in every war, in every conflict, there are good ppl and there are inhuman ppl, in both sides.

I've researched the Vietnam - US war in both side of the view, and I've seen proofs that in both side, there were massacre, killing tons of innocent ppl and doing tons of inhuman acts. And there were touching stories about soldiers risking their lives to protect the civilians.

First off the US had no business in Vietnam.

Secondly, Iraq was not ruled by the Taliban. Iraq it was Saddam. Afghanistan was ruled by the Taliban.

Third, you got a detention for looking at this? Wow

No. He's the one that signed NDAA. Sure, he promised not to use it on Americans, but what's stopping 'Santorum' or one of the other clowns from abusing it? Ron Paul is the way to go. Haters and critics just use false claims to try and bring him down. ''He's a racist, he's a hypocrite, he's old, blah blah blah.''

And on a kind of unrelated note?

Quote:
We must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military–industrial complex. We recognize the imperative need for this development ... the potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist ... Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.

Sound familiar to anyone? It should.

Oh I misunderstood what Jake said. I thought he said pulling troops out wont happen if Ron paul gets elected.

Anyway, I dont think one should worry about a president being racist. He could be racist or bigoted for all you care, but as long as he does the country good its fine. He isnt gonna make everyone in the US racist...even if he is. So why worry.

He might be old but atleast he is libertarian and he speaks his mind from what little I have seen about him.
