I do not believe the U.S. Beyond repair , Yes it will take some time if it will be done.. I Belive we need to stop printing money, starting wars just to sell weapons , tanks etc, Not to mention all these bailouts. !!

I think these are the main factors we need to get a hold of !!!

The problem is not any of those things above. The problem is that too few hold too much money - 1% of people in the USA hold 40% of it's wealth! What you guys need is some sort of new system that allows money to circulate, not just end of in the uber rich's hands.

They pay less taxes than the middle class !! Repuplicans and Democrats are so worried of the otherside having somethinf done good that they don't ever want to agree and come to terms on things that can fix situations !!

And gas oh yes yes how do i miss 99cents a gallon .... !!!

Ferr3t's right. The amazingly wealthy 1% hold more wealth than the other 99%. But you know, the constant unnecessary military funding that is viewed as a good thing and a sign of strength is part of the very thing bringing us down. 15 trillion dollars of debt. What does that mean? Dramatically high taxes. And tdoc, that's just how it works. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. American proverb.

but here is this, that 1% are the ones who pay the most taxes on there house and when they buy new cars and so on. Also that 1% are the one who make up most of the jobs and they are the ones who invest in the stock market the most.

Of course they have the most money.

On a personal level, next to India, I love the US, its food

(Yes am a foodie), its cities and other things.

But its government, foreign policy especially sucks big time. Its aimed at making the rich get richer at the cost of its own citizens.

99 cents a gallon? Well, You guy are lucky. Even now when its like what 4 or 5 dollars a gallon? In India we pay 1.5 dollars a litre. Which means about 6-7 dollars a gallon!!
