Can you really say that I mean really say that when the basis of having a soul and the thought of a after life came from religion.

I myself don't believe in afterlife or ghosts. But for me, soul is like... wat inside us, I mean, the personality and emotions.

After death, I believe, ur mind and time just freeze, u won't even feel the time pass and u won't even know anything else. So there is nothing to worry about, even if you won't every be resurrected into another life, u won't feel anything.

Ghosts, in my opinion, is not something to worry about. If they want to touch me, they must be able to be touched, and of course, that means I can hit them back. And if they can't be touched, they can't touch me.

Religiously, this is wat I believe, when the body die, the soul of that body die with it. There is no way there is a soul without a body.

Plus, human, no matter how high they envolved, are just a biological beings, and if they have soul, others will too. Which includes the chickens, the porks we eat everyday; the ants we stepped on everyday; grasses, trees, flowers,...; even the bacteria that are born and die in merely an hour. If there is an afterlife, I could say it's over-crowded.

Well maybe some people don't want to believe in a hypocritical christian god that mass murders people and animals with huge floods and natural disasters and sends people to an eternity of fiery torture but still retain the idea that there is an afterlife, just not with the psychopath they describe in the bible.

A hugely philosophical/mystical plane of existence ie: an afterlife, would probably not have to apply to the basic laws of the universe so that over crowded thing isn't even relative here lol.

And i believe this is true but in the sad since I am sorry to say i have a totaly different view on the afterlife it just depends on how i am thinking of it at that point in time i believe sometimes there is a afterlife and therefor a soul in every single thing but in other times the sadness of what i believe is that there is no after life there is not even a darkness or a freeze in time that you are completely gone that you just no longer exist and that the world is hell and therefor when you die there is nothing and that the death of something is a pointless cycle.

So a scientific explaination is that when u die, u simply leave this world and go to another world in a parallel universe, which existed in the 11th dimension of our world, according to the M Theory, and start ur new life there?

I give a big no, its just a spiritual belief that every will believe that 1 man made the human race and start this world. Watch the science channel guys. The universe was created by a big bang causing the all the galaxies to expand and forming planets in the galaxies. And you think 1 man created that. If there was man then the would be a woman too. But i don't see that anywhere in the bibles. How does one man created another man without a women? would that make him you know . . . Well back to the fact that a man can't just create another man from spare parts in a toy bin. So my answer is no he a fake.

personally i am agnostic but to a certian extent i dont believe god has much if anything to do with our lives like religions say and i dont believe jesus was anything special
the purpose of life is to live and choose if you want to make your life fun or a living hell and there is also a good debate is it an afterlife being reborn into another world where there is life or just living here on earth again we will never know for certian and any1 that says they do know is completely out of their mind
but personally i think people take religion to seriously when they should just be living out there lives
