7 - 3 , 10 - 5, 20 - 10 works great. BUT that's not what the REAL pros use. It's a good guideline, but if you wanna separate yourself, you've got to deviate from the path everyone else is walking. (And no, I won't tell exactly what I use) lol

come on..
realy everyone that posted in this threath is a noob. the one that came up with the subject is even a bigger noob.
if you cant understand the logic if not having Damage units in your squads at all then we all can understand your 8 years old or a noob.. why even posting to convince these people that damage arnt good. i hope my enemy makes damage..
i just wanna say to everyone let these childs talk.. you should tell to him : WOW Good boy !!. good luck making Damage units !!!
battledawn is like 7 years old now.. i play with some that already play since 2005.. dont think people here are smarth.. if Damage realy do were stronger we "pro" would be using them all already.
i asume jett isnt older then 14 years...

As for the tanks, 7R-3A formation actually beats the 5R-3D-2A formation Jett Stone showed us. It does cost more then the 6R-4A but provides a better option and the losses in big and small fights are always armor units that can be easily recovered as the cost is much lower.
Cheers

Lol there are arguments between using chassis and weapons here. So I've decided to make every type of chassis and weapons, infantry, LV, tanks, con, beam, explosive. And I made it to match the old formation vs Jett's.
And the result is the old formation win with some range anti infantry tanks.
So I hope this will make u clear Jett. Damage is only good when it last for more than 4 rounds, which I think can only happen when both send wrong type of units, however, no one (except newbies) will do that (unless they have nothing else).
