I don't know what this is exactly about, but I think it's much more fair that you get score for killing units.

thats a good thing cuz if you get screwed and your whole army dies you get score for a good war history i didnt like how you get no score when you loose units personally the best would be getting rank for victories/losses and kills/deaths as seen in the statistic screen[/quote] really? you want score and a higher rank for dying??? this has to be the most *CENSORED* thing ive ever seen since this update even came out[/quote] ----------------------------------------------------------------------
not loosing just suceeding in killing other players army so noobs that get *CENSORED* all the time dont permanetly stay at rank 1000+

heres why
now noobs who dont know what they're doing can get to the top 10 just by killing army that attacks them weather or not they lose the battle, and this messes everything up
i was ranked 101 on e3 last era, with nearly 180 power, and crystal if the score system wasnt in, i would have been placed 40 with same stats, this is terrible i admit im not the best player around, but those players who win with massive gaps over the other alliances only have that because they fight a LOT for that, and boost alot, and are very active, in other words they work hard and earn it. the score system gives them even more of a gap because they kill the most army in the era, they fight hard for where tehy are look tater its only there to give chance to noobs and help the good players that got killed like the AIDS players on m3 last era who lost everything they are good players (or boosters i dont know) and deserved that place (not if they boost) so they got to stay rank 50 or so another example was me who also lost everything at end due to noob attack by RoPI but i wasnt online and lost all 5 my xtals and all my units and i had put effort in that and then i had nothing to show for it without new system i would have been in rank 1000

Hate it....
There are allaince that have NO power and NO crystals but have lots of score.
Pretty much you are giving people a high score to people who are super weak. Strong players already have high enough scores...
Dont like it, please remove it.
It doesnt make logical sence for one to have a high score but no army.

I really really like the idea but that being said the way it works right now I hate.
There is absolutley no reason someone should be rewarded for losing their whole army. I would like to see the units in a persons army gain score in each battle, just like expierence for example. The score that units gain would be added to the players score but then if a unit with score dies then that score the unit had comes out of the players score. I don't like seeing people with no power in the top 20. It sickens me.
That said I like the idea, it just needs to be adjusted.

people were happy before the battle score system came about and now atleast have the people either dont like it or want it fixed as shown in polls but in my opinion no matter how you fix it there will always be people mad BD was better off without it with no1 really complaining period

I see from the results of the voting that most players love the new scoring system. this era in f2 I am ranked 36th with a power of 130. The guy ranked 34th has a power of 25. he has killed about 400 more units that I have. I have gotten very few points for my kills because my power level is 130 and most of the people we are at war with have power levels much lower than that. But the guy 2 ranks ahead of me probably gets points from every battle he is in. I like the system in theory, but there need to be some adjustments so that if you kill something you get some points. If you are 3 times your opponents power level, then you only get 1/3 of normal points but you should get some points. I wiped out 105 units a couple days ago and they got points and I got none. Doesn't quite seem fair. Oh well, that is my opinion. If something doesn't change, then I will just keep my power level around 20-25 next era and I will just train troops and attack players with power levels over 100 and I should be able to get to the top 10. So see you next era on f2.

sucks big time.
getting a score that can never be taken away from you is stupid, i'm sorry to say. here is a new strategy: 10 colonies fight each other only. each one of them holds a squad of snipers in their base, and each one of them sends a squad of rifle to attack one of the others, once a day. this will result in 30 points per day for each colony (rifles lose to snipers 30-0). in a quick calculation, each colony ends up a 2500 ticks round with 3000 points from battles only. add the boost bar going off every once in a while and you could probably get to 4k points for each colony (including points for workers etc.)
they all join forces before the end and merge into a one big happy alliance. this alliance will have around 40k points without holding even 1 crystal. they don't need army, they don't have to fight anyone, and they didn't boost. with few boosts, you can probably get to around 50-60k points which in the last e1 would be a nice competitor at #1. without holding 1 crystal, did i mention that already?
Even more stupid is the limitation of power differences. you want to prevent bully'ing the weak, but what really happens now is that weak colonies attacking stronger ones all the time. they keep losing, but they dont mind because they keep getting score for it. so theoretically, they can lose all the time but eventually pass the ones that they were bothering, only because those were more powerful so never got any score for those stupid battles.
Last example from last e1: AI did not attack PRAE because they were tanks and PRAE were vecs, and since vecs have bonus against tanks, AI didnt want to let them get the score for their killings, while AI would get less because they were more powerful. so you wanted to get more battles, but here is an example of how you missed a big one.
so this scoring system sucks, and any other way to describe it would be just pretending.
